Community dinner

in Spring 2017, Roost Books hosted a charity dinner to celebrate Roost book authors, community, and the opening of Neighborhood Studio BK, a communal cooking space which is to host ongoing workshops, food talks, pop up dinners, and more. All proceeds from the dinner were donated to the National Foundation for Women & Families, a non-partisan organization that fights for legislation to aid women and families, including policies to promote fairness in the workplace, reproductive health and rights, and access to quality, affordable health care. Heart & Soil was honored to contribute and join this community of women-owned, creative businesses in doing our small part to help promote equality and change.

Hetty McKinnon and Jodi Moreno, the talented chefs, amazing women, and warm founders of Neighborhood Studio BK.

Adrienne of bespoke sommelier service, Summit Street, generously provided wines for the dinner.
