To me, this bouquet has the look of just being gathered up by the armful from a forest understory. I tend to like arrangements with lots of foliage and texture like this. I'm imagining one of those scenes with big looming trees, lush ferns carpeting the earth, and rays of warm sunshine peaking through the canopy.

I foraged these golden leaves at the last minute from the otherwise barren December landscape of my backyard. I think that it adds needed depth to this textural piece and bring the colors to the forefront.

For beautiful eyes, look for the good in others; for beautiful lips, speak only words of kindness; and for poise, walk with the knowledge that you are never alone.
— Audrey Hepburn

Michelle is an awesome, humble, and beautiful model. But more than that; she's a really good friend, amazing stylist, and an all-around upright, loving person. I made her wear my wedding dress for this shoot. Her then-boyfriend-now-fiance met us at the shoot and was swooning seeing his lady in a wedding dress. I like to think I was a part of making this marriage happen :)
